Finding football events in Hamburg

Hamburg is a football city with a large amateur and youth scene, organised by the Hamburg Football Association. Across its boroughs – from Altona and Eimsbüttel via Wandsbek and Hamburg-Nord to Harburg and Bergedorf – there are many clubs, and with them plenty of opportunities for friendlies and tournaments without long journeys.

In winter indoor time is scarce and many clubs use it for indoor and futsal tournaments. From spring onwards games move to artificial turf and grass, often complemented by Whitsun and summer tournaments. Since the Hamburg metropolitan area reaches far into Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony, many opponents also come from Pinneberg, Norderstedt, the Stormarn district or the Harburg district – the map shows the events across the whole area.

On SquadPit, clubs post their own offers: tournaments, friendlies, training matches and performance checks, each with age group, birth years and venue. The list above shows the next events in Hamburg; on the map you can filter by period, month, age group, category and sport, and use “Near me” to search around your location. SquadPit is a German platform, so most events and their descriptions are in German.
