Finding football events in Rhineland-Palatinate
Two regional associations share Rhineland-Palatinate: the Rhineland association in the north with Koblenz, Trier, the Eifel, the Westerwald and the Hunsrück, and the South-West German association covering Rhenish Hesse and the Palatinate around Mainz, Ludwigshafen, Kaiserslautern and Pirmasens. Many clubs are small and closely tied to their town – tournaments are often real community events.
Looking for a friendly or a tournament, you will find the most events along the Rhine and Moselle and around Mainz; in the Eifel, Hunsrück and Westerwald distances are longer. Indoor football takes over in winter, outdoor tournaments follow from spring. As Rhineland-Palatinate borders Saarland, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia, the map is worth a look across the borders too.
On SquadPit, clubs post their own offers: tournaments, friendlies, training matches and performance checks, each with age group, birth years and venue. The list above shows the next events in Rhineland-Palatinate; on the map you can filter by period, month, age group, category and sport, and use “Near me” to search around your location. SquadPit is a German platform, so most events and their descriptions are in German.
