Finding football events in Saxony
Saxony has a long football tradition and an active youth and amateur scene, organised by the Saxony Football Association. The major centres of Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz offer many clubs in a small area, plus Zwickau, Plauen, Görlitz and numerous towns in the Ore Mountains, the Vogtland and Upper Lusatia.
Indoor tournaments are a fixture of the calendar in winter; spring and summer bring outdoor tournaments and festivals. Friendlies and performance checks help youth teams to measure themselves against sides of similar strength. The map shows events in your region – and, at a glance, what is happening in the neighbouring parts of Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Bavaria.
On SquadPit, clubs post their own offers: tournaments, friendlies, training matches and performance checks, each with age group, birth years and venue. The list above shows the next events in Saxony; on the map you can filter by period, month, age group, category and sport, and use “Near me” to search around your location. SquadPit is a German platform, so most events and their descriptions are in German.
Is your club hosting a tournament?
Post it for free in the SquadPit app. Teams from Saxony will then find your tournament on this page and on the map and can contact you directly.
